Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a strong message to terror groups and Pakistan during a speech in Gujarat's Dahod, warning that any attack on Indian women or attempts to erase their dignity would be met with decisive retaliation. Referring to Operation Sindoor, PM Modi hailed the military’s swift and precise action that destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir within minutes.
The Prime Minister underscored that Operation Sindoor was not just a strategic military strike but also an emotional and cultural message rooted in India's civilizational values. "This is not just an operation; it is our answer to anyone who dares to challenge the sanctity of our sisters," he said. His remarks, “Jab koi hamari behno ke sindoor ko mitayega, toh uska bhi mitna tay ho jata hai,” struck a deeply emotional chord with the public.
Modi revealed that after the April 22 terror misadventure, he gave a free hand to the armed forces. What followed was a historic and high-impact strike that eliminated the biggest terrorist camp in just 22 minutes. He also pointed out that the Pakistani army's reaction was swiftly countered, as Indian forces pushed back strongly and decisively.
He accused Pakistan of nurturing terrorism as a state policy, contrasting it with India's vision for a developed and peaceful future. “They hate India and try to hinder our growth. But we are moving ahead, focused on eliminating poverty and building a Viksit Bharat,” Modi said, adding that India's development hinges on the strength of both its economy and military.
During his visit to Gujarat, PM Modi also inaugurated a Locomotive Manufacturing Plant in Dahod and flagged off the first electric locomotive made there. The 9000 HP engines are expected to boost Indian Railways’ freight capacity significantly and also cater to international export needs.
